Hi Gabriele,

I don't like too much the material of the bookshelf, for me looks too flat; the only thing that gives it some "volume" is the reflection in the corner at the left side, the reflections in the front part seems not helping in make it like a real material.
Is there a glass in front of the cigars?, if it is you could boost his effect by faking a sort of room reflections.
ok the material of the inside of the bookcase (the one of the cigars)
could you post the photo before the composition?

Cheers, Paolo

few things to note:

* the reflection on the flor might help a bit to blend your piece of furniture
(seems the flor is kinda reflective, isn't it?)
* some color bleed might help too.

if You cant make it (inside software) - fake it.
extra 5min of PS work might give a boost for sure =)

furniture and rug looks awesome, the texture for the bookeshelf has got too much gamma in it - way too dark for me. The back far corner looks a little flat.
But it mostly looks awesome...!

Hi guys

the only 3d object is the bookshelf...The sofa and carpet where in the scene but deleted after the compositing.

This scene is illuminated with a Dosch hdr (chrome studio)

The photo is not mine, I gave the render+alpha to the client of mine.
