Hi guys,

This is the new CASTADIVA animation, 2200 frames more. (total 5200 about)
It's a test only!

here is the link:

http://vimeo.com/47101915

password: castadiva

This time I put a lot of instances but I filled only 1,6GB of vram (!)

All objects you see are all instances except for walls, floor and ceiling.

I posted 3 stills rendered this time with pmc at 1920x1080. They were cooked with 2000 samples for 36 minutes about each

What I want demonstrate?

Octane for Max is ready for cinema or broadcast productions.
With a little post production you can create professional works (my test is not professional).

That's all!

Not yet.
We have to fix the lighting issue first and make it to be more stable.

Gabriele, you're my no 1!
Love your work.
The only thing I would like to comment is the ceiling in the animation is very bright.
Why is that so? Did you need that for good lighting up the scene?
The stills have a better ceiling though?
Looking forward to your next exposure.

Good work Gabriele.
Did you use distributed rendering with 2 workstations via backburner or all on one machine?

Thank you.

- one workstation, 4x580
- the kernel used is directlight then the illumination is fake.

due the fact the 3.0a doesn't handle the lights correctly I can't test it with two workstations and Backburner.

:o whoa, again awesome work gabrielefx, these animations are priceless.

I agree that Octane for Max is ready for serious animation work once the bugs are squashed.
