Please make sure that you work in linear colour space otherwise you can't just add things up (due to the non-linearity of the camera response curves and gamma etc.). If you do and it still doesn't add up, please post/send me a scene so I can verify and fix if necessary.
No, it is definitely not colorspace or response curve. Beauty pass is the same and I'm always rendering linear. I'm in the middle of the project and I'm little short with time. I can send you render passes with same setup for version 3.03.04 and 3.04.

Hi doca,
please, try with "Tonemap the render passes" option active when saving info passes.

I think I found a workaround for losing the ability to resize the render view port window after you maximize it. Just go to windows on top toolbar and reset workspace. It didn't change my saved layout so for now until this issue is fixed that seemed to work.

I tested the render view port window re-sizing. I found that when you right click render viewport checkmark box and maximize the render viewport window...then minimize the render view port I lose the ability to resize the render view port window.
This will be fixed in the next release, thanks for the report.

Nice release!
I like the grid snapping of the nodes. I really like to add something to it. Like the 'Dot' in nuke.

is that something that can be added? I can make a octane node tree way more viewable.
Thanks.

Thanks Guys,
really great new things...just sad we can use on the maya plug...

I'm really happy with the news options (Bump and normal maps :o :D ), I have a quick question for the new falloff modes Could we have based on luminance??

would be great for carpaints is the main issue we have on our project Clients they are really precise on this and the rack diffuse blabla doesn't work we did a lot but they are company car and they are precise about the products specially carpaints.

Anyway so far is great thanks again for the updates.

Best,
JO
