Refractive Software LTD is proud to announce the availability of version 1.00 beta1 of Octane Render.
This release is for PC's running MS Windows.

This release archive contains a complete illustrated PDF Manual of the software.
We recommend new users to read it carefully.

We will provide the linux version the day after this release.

This new release has a manual, loading and saving of projects, saving the rendered image, an improved UI, 3d stereo rendering, and many fixes and enhanchements.

This is a commercial release, accessible to our licensed users who purchased a license.
We will release an updated DEMO version with load/save and save image disabled, on the weekend.

Please note that the download link that was emailed out is incorrect - it points to an older version (0.81a) and also its a DEMO (and its 32bit too). Please advise of the correct link. Thankyou !

Hello Radiance,
On the purchase page there are no indications when the Beta offer will end. Could you provide the offer expiry date?
Would the expiry happen before the Mac version is available?

I know you allow switching from the Win version to the Mac versions when the latter is available but it would still be good to know
the timeline because I hate switching between my OSX and rebooting in Windows.

For that matter, if the Mac version comes after the Beta offer expiry for Windows, would the Mac version launch have a similar
Beta offer period?

Hi,

Due to a few similar inquiries, we're preparing a roadmap.
The beta offer will last for another while though,
and it will definately last until after we've supplied max os X versions.

When you purchase a license, you will have access to the Beta user's forum which has the beta downloads in it.
