Hi Guys,

pretty new to octane and trying to get comfortable with it.

The scene was made with C4D in Octane. While I am already really satisfied with
it, it still looks not 100% perfect.

I find the white reflection on the glass bottom weird, but I dont know how to fix that.

Wrong / no caustics are cause I set the wrong IOR, already corrected that.

Would love to get some feedback :)

cheers

Thanks for sharing. Good job. There are a few inconsistencies, the wood surface would not reflect the pizza dish as shown. The light source for the glasses and the pizza dish is not correct, the shadow is towards the light.

Thanks for your feedback!

The wrong light is a light source a placed on the other side to get the reflections on the glass. imaging a Surface reflecting the direct sunlight from the front. but might be not a good idea.

Totally right about the reflection of the pizza plate on the table. Just didn't see it until you mentioned it :D

any idea about the harsh white reflection on the glass bottom?
