Hey Paul, Modo forum members,

Can you guys please confirm a bug where saving out a Multi-Layer EXR 16bit crashes 3.0.4 immediately.
Every time I have passes like AO and Object ID in the passes window enabled, and then try to save a render using the above mentioned format, Modo crashes.
The file that is left behind if only half written...only the top half of the image appears.
When no extra render buffers are rendered, the file can be saved using this format with no issues.

Also, saving a render using Multi-Layer EXR 32bit works perfectly...saving all buffers with no issues.

When I had the Modo Octane 2.25 plugin installed, I could save out renders using Multi-Layer EXR 16bit with no issues.

I'm using Modo902 and the latest 3.0.4 Modo plugin build.

Cheers,
Toby

Confirmed. And sent crash report to the Foundry. I am pretty sure that they forward those to Paul.

This is a crash in the Octane API, and I can reproduce it in Octane Standalone. I will report this to Otoy.

Otoy can replicate this issue, so hopefully it will be fixed in a future Octane release.

I believe it was fixed in Octane 3.0.6, so should be resolved in the latest TEST release of the plugin.
