saving material presets in modo 15.2

What is the best way to save octane material presets in modo 15.2?

It seems that the new changes to the presets in modo have made the process more complicated.
When I try to save as a material preset, modo creates a new assembly which also contains the octane override.

To be more specific, before 15.2,
once I created an octane override, I could save the assembly that the plugin creates as an assembly.
This is not possible anymore.
Now I have to create a new assembly preset, and copy all the nodes into it.

Before 15.2, I could also just simply save a material preset from the shader tree, which would include automatically the octane override, as well as any textures from modo that were in the shader tree.
Now, when I try to save a material preset, modo automatically creates a new assembly.

Maybe I am missing something, but it seems like a workflow killer at the moment.

This is a known issue, and Foundry are working hard to fix it (hopefully in the next Modo release). In the meantime, I suggest going back to Modo15.1 if you are working with preset for Octane Overrides.

Thanks

Hi Paul, thanks for the quick reply.
I had skipped the last couple of releases, and switched from 14.2.

It's good to know I could roll-back to 15.1; I will give it a try.
