Fog medium in daylight

Hi, fog medium in daylight doesnt work, it produces a solid fog everywhere. I used the old method and is fine. Check 2 pics.
All i do is add a scattering in daylight medium, make scatter white and play with density but not working. Am i doing this wrong or is it a bug? thanks

It may be that your geometry is placed outside of the medium radius. Try to play with this parameter.

is it possible to have Fog without the daylight system?
You can always use the HDR Environment option instead, chosing an HDR map, that has a sunlit sky.

Its not the medium radius. Im inside 3ds max btw and not standalone. And yes, i do not want to use daylight to have this. I wanna have fog in any situation
