Hi,jitendra wrote:LUA Script shortcuts seems to be not working in this version 2.2.
It is working in 2.06. here.
Thanks.
They are working on my system in 2.20. What OS are you using and which shortcuts do you have assigned?
cheers,
Thomas
Could you be a bit more specific? You are obviously the only one who reports this problem so there must be something specific about your setup or scene. So what exactly is the problem, what do we need to do to reproduce it?manalokos wrote:Network slaves continue to fail when you save an image without pausing the render...
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is. - Yogi Berra
I posted this in another topic, but not sure is anyone saw it:
With the animation script:
the %f doesnt seem to actually grab the frame number you are on when saving the image, it copies the number of frames you have rendered. This is a problem if you wanted to render out a small section of the animation. in my current animation, I wanted to render frame 700-900, but the %f started it at 0001 instead of 0700.
now if I later rendered out the rest, I would be unable to bring them into aftereffects as one thing.

I guess we missed it. But sounds like a bug, we'll fix it for the next release.

You need to use a heavy scene with a high resolution render, if you save an image without pausing the slaves will fail after saving. Have you tried replicating this?
I happens on all scenes and on all projects, usually they are heavy, perhaps it doesn't happen in simple scenes.
Try with a scene with a lot of objects, scatter nodes, PMC or Pathtracing, and with a 3543x2362 resolution or higher.
To make things worse, when slave fails we loose all the samples it contributed to the render... they could at least be saved on a separate local buffer...
Kind regards

Can you also let me know, how to assign the shortcut manually in .lua script? Thanks.
