Hi all,
I am relatively new to the Octane Render, so this is probably a very noob question. I am currently using Octane Standalone v3 with obj models that are exported from Rhino. I am encountering the problem where the Octane is rendering all the divisions on the mesh instead of rendering it as a smooth surface. This geometry is a simple curve extrusion in Rhino. I am suspecting this is an export problem, but I am sure.
Thanks in advance!
Mesh surface rendering all divisions instead of smooth?

Hi,
when you see this artifacts on the mesh, the issue is surely the scale.
Try to select the geometry mesh node, click the tool icon in the node inspector window, and correct the scale.
You can solve the issue also by changing the Rey epsilon value in the Kernel settings, but since you are trying to find the way to import from Rhino, better to find the correct scale for exporting.
Octane works in meters.
