In opposite to the manual, there are no input fields for "Longitude / Latitude" and "Month / Day / GMT Offset / Hour" in the Daylight Tag. If I select "Create Objects->Daylight" from the Live View I get an infinite light with a sun tag and a Daylight tag set to the current time, as it looks like. But how can I change the time and location? Changing the corresponding parameters in the C4D sun tag has no effect on Octane. What am I doing wrong?

ok, the sun tag is disabled by default. That's not a good pre-setting. If enabled, the time parameters are taken from the c4d sun tag. But the sun color and the sky color don't change. Is there another option I miss?
i suppose you have checking demo. Daylighttag not control orientation of light. That is coming from light transform and you can change from directly light controls. For sun and sky colors you must use newest versions. Demo is using older sdk which has no accurate controlmad mandrax wrote:ok, the sun tag is disabled by default. That's not a good pre-setting.
