I seem to have a problem with hairs/splines.
I haven't used splines in awhile and was going to use them in a project recently.

I simply created a spline in C4D and exported the alembic file.

The spline wouldn't show up, wasn't visible.
It didn't matter what thickness I set hairs to in the import preferences.
I couldn't see it.

I updated my Vid Drivers to the latest I could get (390.77), no change.
I tried older versions of Octane.

I can see splines in 3.0
I can see splines in 3.06.4

I cannot see splines in 3.07
I cannot see splines in 3.08 TEST 6

If I apply a diffuse MAt with a high power emission and surface brightness, then I can see something.
Otherwise nothing shows up.

Did something change from 3.06 to 3.07, that would affect hairs/splines?

I am using Octane standalone version, no plug-ins

My system:

Windows 7 sp1 64 bit
16 gigs of ram
Vid card is GTX 760 with 2G ram
(latest drivers)

Thank you for your time.

With the last NVIDIA driver 391.35 I have some problem only with my GTX 980 Ti on Win10:

OctaneRender 3.07 (3070007)

Launching net render slave (3070007) with master 10.39.12.184:1027
CUDA error 999 on device 2: unknown error
-> failed to bind device to current thread
device 2: failed to initialize resources
CUDA error 999 on device 3: unknown error
-> failed to bind device to current thread
device 3: failed to initialize resources

Any solution?

Thanks
Stefano
