hi, why cant i login to the software... i can login on your site but not the software ! !
your support page totally sucks for any kind of assistance using jargon instead of clear explanations and jumping between v2 and v3 - are you too fucking lazy to do two pages ???
if there is anything more stupid than logging in to use a software afters it's authenticated, you guys win first prize.
WTF !
you have lost a client btw.
if you are not happy with my language, I DONT CARE !!!!! i will continually voice it out on the modo forums to buy VRAY instead !!!! and not this shitty nonsense !!!

Hey Keith,
i'm not sure if you still need help or you already gave up. I didn't had such experience but i can imagine how frustrating this is. I guess you are using the Modo Plugin. There is a Page in the Manual which describes the Authentication Progress:
https://docs.otoy.com/ModoH/ModoPluginM ... Access.htm
What's important is to use the Login Data of your Account and not the one to the Forum (That's what I did wrong first). Sometimes there are People who can't log in but i'm under the impression that mojave helped in these situation very quickly.
Btw. when the program is authenticated you don't need to log in everytime you whant to render. You only have to do it once and check "Use offline Licensing"
I hope that helped

Hi Keith,Keith wrote: i still cant login and dont know why.
When you find any issue, it is the best to provide as much information as possible about it. In your case I am not even sure what software you are currently using (standalone vs plugin).
Regardless of it, every version of Octane v3 uses the same credentials to sign in as you'd use to log into your OTOY account (https://account.otoy.com), in contrast to your forum credentials or the old license username and pass you needed in v2.
https://docs.otoy.com/StandaloneH/Stand ... Access.htm
If your credentials do not work you can always reset them on the website and there's also a link to the manual in the sign in screen.
Thanks for your feedback, it will be taken into account, if you consider this a necessary feature I'd also advise to add a feature request here so other users can support it to be implemented.Keith wrote:but if you are going to do a UI software login... pleas also put a reset password right there too !!!! like all websites have !!!

I hope that helps, please let me know if you need further assistance.
