Hi, plugins for sequoia c4doctane 2024.1 not released ? Updated to sequoia doesn't work :(

Over on the Redshift forum the M4 Max is hitting the same benchmark as a laptop 4090. Definitely catching up!

For a correct installation of c4doctane 2024.1 plugin, firstly you need to update your Maxon C4D to a recent build, (R25.117, R26.107, 2023.2, 2024.4, 2025.0.1), or plugin cannot be correctly loaded, please visit your MyMaxon page and download the update.

Is there any update for multi gpu (network rendering) for Modo 17 on mac Apple silicon?
I noticed its only prime.. and the network button doesn’t do anything. I was running C4D and had everything setup … but now with Modo .. are we really stuck only in really old version and in prime?

Hi,
the Prime version is not an issue, but Network Rendering has been added only from 2024.1 version, so you need a Modo Prima 2024.1 version to be able to have Net Render in macOS.

Try to ask in the Modo section of this forum about that specific version.

It seems that plugin is not installed correctly and probably something is missing from the original folder!

Please download it again, then uncompress it in the plugins folder, then remove only the .xlib files not related to your Maxon C4D version.

It should be like this in C4D 2025:

Not sure if this is possible yet as it seems like a feature on the cutting edge, but is it possible and or is there any plan to support using an iPad Pro M4 as an additional render GPU when using a Mac? I have a MacBook Pro and would love to be able to speed up renders by plugging in my iPad to use as an additional GPU.

I would like to know this too. But more for setting up scenes on the iPad and using Network Rendering to render them to other Macs and / or Windows machines as Network Slaves (is that headless rendering?).
