disabled windows firewall, now get the error below when loading octane in unity. also when running the installer install_t1.exe, fails installing, "no compatible unity installation were found, 2017.3.0.63597

so i'm thinking this version is not compatible with the latest build of unity??

Do you still get the server handshake error?

Also what version of unity and Octane for Unity are you using?

I don't think so, I'll have time later today to work on this.

Unity is build 2017.3.0f3. i downloaded the octane for unity install_t1.exe and it fails to install, error "no compatible unity installations were found, 2013.3.0.63597

ok, found a little time today to try this again, did make some progress and successfully installed octane for unity, accounts linked, and now get this new error

I can't load Octane with this version anymore, I had to go back to version 1207 to get it to work again, but I get many errors even though it kind of works.
I am using the Docking Bay scene with unity 2017.3.0f3 and Octane was working perfectly until now.

My original error in 1223:

We are working on the issue. Apparently a timeout switch was incorrectly set.
Downgrading your project is not adviced as it will have unpredictable outcomes.

Got it.

I am still on the previous version. Just testing out the plugin, so no major danger to production files done. Also, after a restart of Unity, I am no longer getting all the 1217 errors. Will keep testing on this version until your fix comes out, but thanks for the warning.

We fixed the issue in the new build. You should be able to upgrade.

I got a network connect error. But when I quit Unity, re-opened and accessed Unity afresh it worked.
