Yes, this is on our radar for Version 4, where we can leverage Brigade's scene graph and dynamic speed to make this useful for real time content outside of Editor. Implementing this may require new Octane APIs that are not in V3, which is why it's not happening even ahead of V4 work. Right now Octane 3 is for DCC authoring integration, so potential V4 runtime playback needs another API and deployment system that still needs to be developed further.

At the moment, we support playmode within the editor.
