I'm having two issue, not sure if they are related or not. The first one is a Ocio error...

Code: Select all

[OpenColorIO Info]: Color management disabled. (Specify the $OCIO environment variable to enable.)
I'm not sure what to set the $OCIO variable to.

The second is worse in that OctaneServer crashes the second I try to enable rendering. Here is what I get in the terminal...

Code: Select all

OctaneServer
[OpenColorIO Info]: Color management disabled. (Specify the $OCIO environment variable to enable.)
Octane Engine v. 23.4

Octane: Starting Octane engine...
Octane: ...started
Octane: Activating license...
Octane: ...activated
[OpenColorIO Info]: Color management disabled. (Specify the $OCIO environment variable to enable.)
Octane: Starting Octane engine...
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
This happens with just the default cube scene. I have tried to set the materials to Octane ones, but it didn't make a difference.

Thanks,

Jason

I have tested version 23.3 and it works fine and also doesn't have the Ocio error.
