Are you trying to load with the Octane 2.2 plugin a scene created with Octane 3.0? I am fairly sure that there is going to be backward compatibility issues. Anyway if you want to send me the scene I could test it here, but as I have said before, the backward compatibility from Octane 3.0 scenes to Octane 2.2 is not guaranteed at all.

I understand that there's no way to downgrade, usually I just delete all octane nodes and created it again in v2. No problem at all.
But in this version I have a bug with Houdini hang down.

Can be a problem related to the OBJ spare parameters. I can test one of these scenes here if you want, but anyway, it is going to be hard fix the 2.2 plugin to support the 3.0 scenes if there are this kind of issues.

Hi,

I have found several problems while compiling the plugin for Linux and OSX that I must fix before release the next build, so the new 3.06 build including the H16 version is not going to be released until next week.

Well, yes, the Windows version should work. This is the current 3.06 build for H15.5 and H16 latest production builds. You can check the release notes inside the "docs" folder:

Be aware that it is a test release. I hope to make the proper full release for all the Houdini builds and all the OS along next week.
