Also, bringing geometry from one container to another using object merge, the IPR doesn't update.

The important question is, would it be possible to speed up the IPR load in Houdini? I compared Octane in Blender to Houdini, and Octane is much faster there to load. In Houdini every full IPR reload is way too long, I even tested an 8K material from quixel, just this material and a plane, takes freaking 5 seconds to start the IPR, when the IPR is running I can turn off/on geometry way faster, the initial IPR load is always very slow. In Blender every time I boot up IPR it's quick, it's only a little slow to load when I just opened blender and I think it's doing some server license check that's why it's slower, but then it's just very quick to load the same setup compared to Houdini.

Or maybe Blender doesn't fully stop the Octane IPR when I switch the preview mode in the viewport there? Maybe it only pauses it and that's why it is faster to pick up. Anyway, let me know what you think about this!
(I just tried pausing/updating the IPR only in Houdini and not turn it off, I turned off and on the objects in the scene quickly here and there and eventually ended up with a CUDA error because Update button just stopped working, so I think holding IPR on the pause while working in Houdini and only updating it isn't the best idea)
