I've added this feature for the next plugin build.

Thanks,

Sorry, I have not seen this problem before. Are you talking about the denoising in the MPlay preview or in the final output files? If you could share a scene with this problem it could help a lot.

Thanks,

I've seen this happen with frames rendered to disk and in Mplay. Something similar seems to be happening to the post processing. Some frames have it, some frames don't.

Can I email you a wetransfer link with the scene ? it's 100mb because I'm using a particle cache ( reduced to 10 frames)

I'm sorry, but I can't reproduce this problem here. I wonder if somehow you could be running out of GPU memory to process the denoising or if it could be a drivers issue. In any case, later this week I'll release a new plugin build including the latest 2019.1.4.0 core. If you still have this problem with this new build, please let me know to further investigate it.

Thanks,
-Juanjo

I see, thanks for looking into it. I was thinking along those lines, not enough memory gpu. Would that happen with rendering too much particles ? Strange thing is sometimes it renders competely fine, and other times there's a couple of frames without the denoising, feels very random :)

If you have two or more GPUs, select for denoising the GPU with more memory available, only one. You have these settings in the plugin options panel. And never select the display GPU, which usually has less available memory.

Yes, I had it set like that already. Non display gpu with 11 Gb ram is set to denoise.

And if you disable the rendering on this GPU using it only for denoising?

Thanks,
