When is this bug likely to be fixed?

Rendering in Mplay is frustrating as I only use one monitor. Is there a way to fit the Mplay window into Houdini's UI?

Hi,

You can configure the MPlay to be always on top. In the MPlay Windows->Profile window, you only need to add the “-T” option to the Command Line Options.

Thanks,

Ok that helps a bit.

Will this bug be fixed for the next update?

Please give us a clear timeline for when this will be working correctly in OSX.

thank you

What bug, the custom OpenGL viewport IPR?

The current OpenGL IPR is available only for Windows and Linux currently due to some limitations under OSX in the lib that I'm using to manage the window. The MPlay IPR should work fine, but it is true that it doesn't support the picking functions. I'm thinking about how to work around these limitations, or even how to integrate the IPR in the Houdini render view panel.

Thanks,

Yes the OpenGL viewport IPR. That's a shame about lib OSX limitations.

Integrating the IPR in the Houdini render view panel would be very very useful indeed.

thanks
