Also, I was curious if anyone has used Cubix's Xpander for Octane Render? And with which cards ? I'd love to hear your experience with them...
They seem pricey but with a Mac Pro (2012) I would need an expansion chassis to use the GTX 690's anyway...

Does anyone know if these are shipping yet?
Have you Octane folks actually gotten any to test with? (I assume they be supported) Anyone have any knowledge of what the performance on this card will be? 1500 Kepler cores and 4GB sounds pretty sweet.

So I've been trying too figure what the best current Octane performance cards for Mac configurations would be. I only care about rendering not game performance. If I understand what I've read correctly it would be the GTX 570 if I don't want to deal with an external expansion chassis, so my question ...
