Hey guys,
where da hell can i download the latest 2.44 version of octane?
This kind of forum structure is so badly organized that i can
not recognize where to download the latest release.
Sorry for my rant, but i have served more than thousands of forums
but this one here still gives me a headache.

Re: Performance while working with octane
@GeoPappas
Actually that is what i'm always doing.
Actually it is cumbersome to build up the scene with a huge render size.
Yeah a secon card would be the way to go i think.
Cause to be honest, when octane is rendering it is a pain
in the ass to work further with my workstation.
Besides, is there ...

Re: octane final release date?
guys, please don't mix it up what i'm saying.
I'm not asking for a date like 23.04.11 - please reread my post.
I'm talking about "ROUGH" time plan.
So in fact, i know blizzard very well, because i'm coming from that industry and actually
know very well the saying " When it's done" but it must be ...

Re: octane final release date?
Thanks matej.
Oh man, another fanboy again.
Dude relax before you get an heartattack.
I think it is not a crime, asking for a rough time
line, when the Dev Team is planning with a real Final
release. It's really funny and also ridiculous
how some users are defending this software
like they are ...

octane final release date?
Hey folks,
is there any time schedule where we can see the rough
final release date for octane?
Also it would be cool to know, what features the final release will have.
cheers

Performance while working with octane
Hey folks,
is it me or is the performance of octane while working really slow.
I'm not talking about the render performance, it's about how the operating system
is acting.
When i open Firefox or try to do something else while rendering in octane
everything is in slomo! But also checking some nodes ...

Re: Workflow / Interface Restrictions
Maybe for you matej, but definately not for me.
I don't know what you understand under exotic pov
but navigating the camera was no problem at all.
Actually i think that it is equal like Mayas navigating therefore
i can not understand the feature request, but maybe other users think
different about ...

Re: Workflow / Interface Restrictions
I got to admit I wasn´t aware of BS Shot and I don´t think a healthy discussion about tools'n'features will hurt anyone, I doubt someone here will now abandon Octane and quickly get a 1000 bucks license for Shot.. and I don´t want to know what price the Pro version has.
Still, take industry giants ...
