Thank you very much Radiance...so quadro should be better for modelling purpose while gtx better for rendering phase, is it correct?

@cecofuli
How much time did it take with Vray with the same hardware configuration? More or less? And final quality?
Thank you

@radiance
Hi, I have also made a new post, but after reading a little your forum I have seen you are a team member of Octane...
so maybe you can give me a good opinion.
The first is about the choice for a card for Octane...I have seen that some nvidia gtx are faster in the same render of quadro (I'm referring ...

best video card for octane
Would it be better a gtx or new quadro?
For example between a gtx480 and a quadro fx5000?
I see many users here have gtx, but I don't know if it is a price before performance related matter.
Thank you

bump and displacement
Can Octane support features like bump, displacement and scatter as VRay renders? Can do it also in animation?
Thank you
Thank you

Re: Animation: Build 1.0
Can you tell me which is your hardware equipment?
I'm considering to pass to octane, but for that I should buy a new video card.
Anyway I should create an animation so, if octane is really so fast, maybe the purchase could be
reasonable...
Thank you very much,
Federico
