how to set Realworld Scaling for Textures

Basically if I apply a material with a wood texture to a box object that represents a table , then if I change the size of the table the material will stay fixed to the object so it gets shrunk or larger with the table scaling. I want to ...

M1 Macs crashing Live Viewer in Octane
So ive started a 3d course with Arthur Whitehead who teaches Octane and people on there are talking about using M1 Macs. Im talking to one guy who says his M1 MacBook Pro Max just keeps crashing in Live Viewer and he is not sure what the problem is, maybe materials but he has to constantly keep ...

How export models & mats from one scene to another?
Sorry but im a complete noobe and ive searched for this question but people are exporting out of Octane to other apps or they are using R16 so im thinking with the latest R25 and Octane my problem is probably much easier to solve. Yes I have R25 but I still prefer R23.

Thanks Tom
Im getting my local shop on the EKWB water cooling, Im fine to change the PSU and case etc. Id change the motherboard it it were necessary.
Is it cool if I come back here to show the solution ive been presented with. Just to check you agree its good? Will you be notified?

Re: Advice for fitting 2nd RTX 3090?
Well I always planned on 2x 3090's from the start, nobody ever told me about this stacking issue. Ive seen David Ariev stacking 4x 2080's and im sure they are cooler etc but this is a bit of a blow.
The NVlink was just an added benefit and another reason to but the same 2nd PALIT 3090.
