This post can be removed, there is no bug there at all.
There is an icon on the Octane viewport that toggles between the the two render size configurations.
There is no bug at all !
It affects both viewports.

I just installed the Octane Plug-in for Daz3D.
I'm having problems with the view ports. Opening the Octane viewport overrides the Daz viewport settings by forcing a 1.18227 : 1 ratio to both viewports (720 x609 on OctaneRender Viewport).
Making changes to either viewport settings have no effect ...
