I have installed standalone demo and 3Dmax plugin on 3Dmax2020, rigged with 3 gtx1080ti, on windows 7 pro

when i start up max 2020 , i get the above mentioned "failed to initialize" message

I have the same problem (.dlr of octane demo fails to initialize at 3dmax startup) although i use nvidia gpus (3 x GTX1080ti)
