OctaneRender_for_3ds_Max_4.04_-_6.17 works OK, I just reinstalled
OctaneRender_for_3ds_Max_4.05_-_6.29 will vpupdate all the time
scene is kind of big, say 5 high poly trees scattered around with forest pro
I enabled logging of the vpupdate reason:

Re: OctaneRender® for 3ds max® v2018.1 - 7.04
sorry I was away from following the development for a couple of month.

I only see similarities:

- both have the material ...

Re: 3ds Max 2019 Native OSL Interface support
tnx Paride but I am not sure you understand:
I know can use Octane OSL Texture with a file.
But take a look at the functionality of the 3dsmax Node. It's good because you can edit the osl if you want and then it will be stored in the Max file.

This should not be hard, but very convenient.
benefits
-no separate osl files (if unlinked)
-max internal script editor

Re: 4 GPU - suitable motherboard - advice
