I don't think it's directly about us(Octane), If it happen while you open a window. Looks like an opengl and driver issue.

About drivers i can't do almost nothing since are the latest offered by nvidia(460.89) but i can try something related to opengl? because is an unknown world to me.

Just scroll down in the task manager to the Cinema 4D task and kill the task (right click or use the button in the bottom right corner). Then you can start C4D again without restarting the computer.
