Sure, it is not for everyone, 41 000 EUR. This scanner is uses mostly in industry.
That's a lot. But results are awesome, But maybe I can use on of this 3d scanners for the same purpose? It costs less, but I'm not sure about the quality.
C'mon, there are plenty of examples on Artec's website ...

Really nice! Why don't make this guys a bit covered with dirt? It will make the scene even more realistic.

Thanks PyatFre! Wow, sorry this took so long to respond. You're right it's doesn't look quite right, it was more of a work in progress. I was thinking of adding a particle system on top of the texture to get more of a 3D effect, hopefully more realistic as well. Here is a test image I was playing ...
