And how about conversion of Vray to Octane considering materials? I have quite large model library with Vray textures. Is there some automated way to convert materials to Octane like Corona or Fstorm have?

can I do in Octane VR what everyone else can do in Octane Render plugins for C4D or 3DS Max?
I know there are some limitations like GPU number (doesn't matter to me since I have one).
