thanks, I know. I was just surprised that the link didn´t work, no demos for max 2015 are available and the demos are outdated (they are based on version 1.20 and not the newest 2.x). So I coudn´t test the demo in max 2015, I couldn´t test the newest version and none of the versions for ...

Ok, my apologies for the rant. I´ve now bought the 2.x upgrade and the 3ds max plugin and luckily it works fine so far. I just wasn´t sure and didn´t want to spend 300 Euros on something that doesn´t work.

In any way, I think it would make sense to update the demo versions.

I´m wondering if scenes made with Octane 2.0 in 3ds max or Cinema 4d will be backward compatible with Octane 1.5 in a way that these scenes open and render.
Obviously the new features would not render and be available in previous versions, but at least opening and using a scene made with 2.0 in 1.5 ...
