Houdini 19.5.368 seemingly breaks with the 303 build. Crash on render to disk. Updates are greatly appreciated, You rule managing all this.

The second preview is just the grain sphere graphic. I believe I fixed this by undoing a thing I had done. This is an error that comes from moving your obj level instances transform away from {0,0,0}. I had read somewhere that you need geo objs flagged on so I had to move them away to see my setup ...

Well I got this rendering but the final render has some wild jittering on all the instances - I have a flip of the whole thing looking just fine so it seems this is happening at render with the instancing. Is this a known issue? How can I fix it - The scene is set to full reload every ...

Well, pretty easy to see why mine was not working. I was using the Instance sop at the end of it all on top of the instance path created in vex. That instance sop def breaks octane.

I am trying it out though my first go of changing the instances to /obj/ level resulted in the same stalled IPR. Digging into your test file now.

Instanced geo on 500K particles - ipr wont load
I'm having some hangups with octane instancing - the ipr basically stalls out when trying to preview the instanced geo.
There is about 540k+ points with orient, pscale and v on them. The geo has about 500 faces. @instancepath is setup to point at a null in the same obj sop.

I have narrowed the problem down to the camera in the scene- its an imported fbx camera from syntheyes. A new camera does not render the split error.

Noise Error / split frame
I am getting an odd rendering error where the rendered image is split into a good looking image and a very noisey one vertically. image attached.
The image looks fine in the IPR but renders started from ROPs ( Render to disk) are all coming out this way with the split in the same position.
