Hey all,
I'm facing some issues to render in Octane 2022.1 - R10.
It seems like an Acer/OCIO config problem by looking into the log file but I'm not sure.
You can find the .c4d file attached as well.
I'm using Octane studio plugin for C4D R21.115.

Alpha type on Image texture BUG
Hello there,
I'm trying to create a label for a product and trying to use a .png alpha to clip the label but octane is not showing this option in the opacity material. Any ideas on how to fix it?
Please have a look at the attached image. Thanks.

Re: HOW TO RENDER REGION IN C4D ?
Hi guys,
I'm trying to activate render region, following the exact same steps but no success.
Any tips?
I've added a screenshot as well.
Thanks,
Daniel

Re: Black refraction through glass - area light
Ok, seems like a camera visibility issue.
If I move the same light off the glass it'll disappear but keeping it within the glass will make it look black.

Re: Black refraction through glass - area light
Hi there,
So I still got the same problem but now in a different scene.
Rectangle area light is not invisible through glass.
Seems like a refraction issue.
I've already played with opacity and other visibility options but the black rectangle remains visible.
Also tried using a plane with emission ...

Black refraction through glass - area light
Hi everyone,
Does anyone knows why I'm having this black area behind my glass while using an area light.
"Fake shadows" is on and I've played with specular visibility but no success.
Tkx in advance.

Dark edges - Octane light
Hi Octaners,
I got a newbie question.
Why do I get this dark egdes projected onto my surface while using Octane light (Both area and spot light)?
How do I get rid of it?
Cheers,
Daniel
