Try to set compression in rendersettings->octane from "RLE" to "none".
This should do the trick.
Maybe otoy / maxon can fix this bug in a later version, so that render runs stable under RLE as well.

Octane and X-Particles Object Tag messed mask order in PSD
Hi,
just working on a scene with X-Particles. When I want to render out the different passes as a psd-File I get a complete messed up order/naming of the separate layers. Is this a bug?
