In the next months i want to upgrade my System for Octane.
Beside new Mainboard, CPU etc. i have about 500-600€ budget for a new gpu.

My current ideas are:

- 1080 + 2x 980 ti (Used price for both about 500€).
- 1080 + 970 + 2060 Super.
- Sell my 1080 and get a 2080 + keep my current ...

I have a GTX 1080 and a GTX 970 and cant decide what i do with my GTX 970.
1: Let the GTX 1080 work together with my GTX 970 (I could only use 4GB Vram, and i only have a Asus Z97-P Mainboard)
2: Sell the 970 and only work with the 1080.
I still don't know if its worth to keep the 970.

The Z-97P doesn't support SLI, but for Octane u need no SLI if i heard it right.

Can i work with 2 GPUs on this Mainboard? And if yes, is there a performance loss?

Vram but will it still be better than only one 1080ti?

I use and HDRI for Ligthing and Reflections.
But the HDRI got an Office Texture/Background Picture.

Is there a way to gte the Light but instead the Office Picture, a black Background or another Picture, which is good for an Space Project?
