I have also an X99-E WS/USB3.1 with 7GPUs and works well now with 387.92 drivers and octane 3.08 or 4 XB1.
Have only problem when I've played with vbios. Now revert back to original vbios to pass the cuda 9.10 drivers (from 387.92).

Will try with R18.028 when I can.
For now I tried with R17.055 - Same issue - Bug report attached.
This is on OSX 10.12.3.
But it was the same yesterday on OSX 10.11.6.
So not related to OSX I think

Sorry i've fixed macos version. I did a mistake on links. I've had some trouble on hardware since a few days so caused some chaotic case on builds. I'm gonna fix also pc version in one hour.
Also there is a problem on 3.03.1 SDK about 'invert' parameter in mediums. I'll make new builds when fixed ...

Did you update the mac version as well?
I have 3.03.1 standalone on master and slave, and that works.
But in C4D I get the same error with 3.3.1.
