thanks for this the effect is different unfortunately so will have to keep the materials built the old way on this project.

OK. I can not supply the file as the info is under NDA so I rebuilt a basic file to duplicate the effect. Initially it did not duplicate it so then I investigated what the differences were.

AOVs duplicated in PS output
A simple question but I cant find an obvious answer!
I am outputting files with numerous AOV. the photoshop file contains these multiple times so I have far too may duplicate layers.
I am sure there will be a simple button on/off I am missing but any pointers would be useful.

No Universal camera?
I am using C4Dr20 with octane 20211.4 R4 and there is no universal camera tag in the object manager tag.
Is this because I am using R20 despite being up to date with octane or am I missing something?

Just turned off 'nested dielectrics' in the pathtracing kernel and it magically all went back to normal

Picture View render drops materials - sometimes?
I have an animation running - the Live viewer renders materials but the Picture viewer drops the material if if run a sequence.
If I render a single frame to the Picture viewer or sometime restart C4D the textures will appear, but erratic.
Doesn't matter if I render/save to Render AOV group or ...
