Is cryptomatte also included in octane 4 anytime? Now it is only with the subscription based model..
I would like to know for future projects sake.

No, that is ok, I will send you a scene tonight. It happened after about 20 frames, I have that issue a lot lately.
Cheers,

Hi Beppe,
No not yet, I downloaded the previous version last wednesday.
I will download the new on now, but I have a question..perhaps you know! I have a 1080 ti with 11 gb memory and the pc has 16gb memory. I am not a tec man myself so could the 16Gb memory cause some crashes?

crash
Hey there,
I am rendering a scene and it crashes c4d after 80 frames. I started it again and it went another 80 frames more and crashed again, c4d quits completely.
I removed some more things from my scene and now it crashed but c4d stayed open. I could capture this cuz the octane log froze c4d ...

Re: crash while rendering image sequence
just saw your reply so thanks, how can I send you the file, to what email adress?
It is a fairly big scene with a lot of textures so be ware of that.
I have also the problem now that many scenes I am rendering crash during rendering, after 200 frames or so, how can that happen?

Re: crash while rendering image sequence
I close all my other programms when rendering so that can't be it.
Read the previous post please, it is a big scene with lots of trees but all are instances from the same tree.
Nevertheless that can't be the issue that causes the weird camera move as described before.

Re: crash while rendering image sequence
If you mean the log, I have had it open and nothing much appears in there, I will check again!
I have about 16gigs on ram and c4d is the only program I have open.
How can I decrease it to have to use less vram?
About the camera, it has rendered correct before so that is so strange, it is a big ...

Re: crash while rendering image sequence
Another weird thing that is happening is that the render jumps all over the place like the camera is jumping around. And the fact is it is a animated straight path.
I rendered another scene flawlessly again so still wondering how this all is possible, I even made a new document and copy pasted ...
