I create content for domes and planetariums and would love to understand why Octane still does not have a proper Spherical camera, as does Cycles 4d, Redshift, Arnold, and nearly every other render engine I have looked at.

Hi,
I have an Octane VR subscription, as well as one for the Cinema4d plugin, which are still active.
I installed the Houdini plugin but it is giving me an error message saying it can find no license. Do I need a separate subscription? If so where can I purchase it? I haven't yet found a link ...

I need to render images for a dome (210 degrees by 180 degrees).
So far Octane Rendered does not seem to be compatible with Wide Field Camera 4D. Can anyone tell me if they have successfully found a good pipeline to render fulldome images using Octane? Octane seems a good solution for my renders ...
