there is a program for mac called Karabiner that lets you have more control over your keyboard. You might be able to do something in there.

There is no MMB on my Mac Magic Mouse, or easy way to MMB on my Wacom tablet. Is there a key combo I can hold with my left hand while using my wacom pen?

Don't know about the magic mouse, but for wacom you certainly can.

This is great, I didn't know this, but I think you mean MMB. The RMB brings up the context menu.

In your live view there is a focus picker focus_picker.JPG
Use that to pick your focus point (just make sure auto focus is disabled in your camera tag)
