It looks like Mplay is the issue. When I turn off render to mplay it renders. I also noticed that when I try to snapshot to Mplay from the octane window it locks up.

Is there an alternative progress window that will allow me to view the render as it cooks?

when i switch to a PNG I now get the error "All the GPUs are disabled, check the GPU settings"... rendering via IPR is working as expected.

sudo apt-get install freeglut3

Ah its just like windows... one of the latest docs was a little confusing and made me thing I didnt need the """" or the PATH line. Dumb error on my part.

The menu loads now, but the plugin is still having problems:

Im running into some issues installing and running the latest build on a new workstation.

HOUDINI_PATH = “/home/users/Octane_2021.1.1.2/Octane_2021.1.1.2_Houdini_19.0.498_Linux_gcc6.3.1/bin;&”

and the error I am getting is:
/home/user/houdini19.0/houdini.env: 
Could not find scene ...

Is there a possible timeline for an update with the latest 2021 build, particularly the restoration of the "emulate old bevhavior" on volumes?
