i knew for greyscale texture but didn't get the dispacement things

i installed octane standalone and octane c4d-plugin (both demo version) on C4D R15

i can't apply textures in displacement channels ...

i tried all kind of textures.. i mean images(several format), tried also just to add noise, it never feed in Displacement
i tried clicking the 3 dots ...
