I'm not sure what the issue was. It would not let me change it which was causing about half of my furniture and casework not to show up. I restarted Revit and was able to change the number. I bumped it up to 10M and that seemed to work.
I've had some pretty crazy issues so far but I'm thinking that ...

Re: Octane won't switch views
Thanks, guys. I played with that a little but did not have any luck. I'll try again tomorrow.
I almost feel like I need to wipe everything off this box and do a full reload. I'm having other bizarre Windows issues, so I'm starting to wonder if the whole thing is just unstable. For the third day in ...

Octane won't switch views
So after playing a little more, closing down revit and restarting, I was able to get it to run and it looks pretty nice. However...I tried to open a different viewport and Octane keeps returning to the original viewport it rendered. Even after saving the file as a different name and deleting the 3d ...

Exceeding Max Polygon Count
Sorry for all of the noob questions.
I am again trying to render an interior office scene. It is not overly complex and we have set up the view in Revit with a scope box, etc. to limit the size. When I open the viewport in Octane it tells me I have exceeded the maximum polygon count and that the ...

Re: Revit Crash and Multiple Users?
UPDATE: I completely uninstalled Octane and started over. It seems to be working now. I have no idea what the issue was, but hopefully we have seen the last of it!

Re: Revit Crash and Multiple Users?
Okay, a few interesting notes for today. First, the Journal file was hidden. I have found it and have attached it. Second, when I pulled up the Octane folder under Programs, there was only the .dat file. The application files were no where to be found.

Background image
I have a jpg file loaded into Revit to serve as a background outside of the building I'm rendering an interior shot of. When I render in Revit it looks great. It does not, however, show up in Octane. I've tried adding it as a texture, but trying to get the scaling and placement right is a challenge ...

Re: Revit Crash and Multiple Users?
As a side note, I looked and could not find the journal file? I do not have an Appdata folder that had anything to do with Revit or Autodesk I could locate, even after doing a search on the C drive.
