Re: Crash on startup/login window
Turns out it was Suitcase Fusion v21 that was causing the problem. I disabled it, logged into Octane and C4D, and they ran fine.

Crash on startup/login window
Things have been running fine all year on this Win 10 workstation, then this week I'm getting a crash from the standalone and the C4D plugin on startup when Octane is asking for a login/authentication. This is happening on Octane v4.01-4.05 with Nvidia 431.70 and 441.28 studio drivers.

Re: GPU Upgrade help
Last I heard, the NVLink only works with 2 cards each. So if you have 3 cards, you can link 2 of them. If you have 4 cards, you can link them in pairs of 2...so you can double your VRAM, but that's it.

Yes, that is what stopped the BSOD, but Octane still crashes.

Just a heads up, some people has had issues with PLX and win 10 with multiple GPUs...look around this and other forums for more info.

Re: Otoy, please pressure Nvidia. X99 mobo BSOD PLX chip bug.
Any updates on this? We recently tried updating an Asus WS x99 usb 3.1 win 8.1 machine to win 10 (because of Adobe!) and have had all of these issues with any nvidia driver we tried. Also updated the mobo BIOS with no luck. Also tried various versions of win 10 with no real success. Prior to win 10 ...

Re: Version 3.06
Hello, when we upgraded to 3.06 across all of our machines, our network renders no longer render at full speed. They show 98% usage, but they are only running at around 400mhz instead of the previous/normal 1400mhz. Is there something that isn't forcing a high priority on these?

Re: How to Reduce Noise on Glass?
Turn up your ray epsilon until you start seeing a visual change. Most of my scenes are at .01. Same goes for GI clamp...I'm usually around 10. Also make sure everything is the correct real world scale. Glass just takes a lot of samples...2k isn't bad at all.
