Since version 2.16 I've also encountered crashes and similar random slowdowns.
Up until that version everything worked smooth. At this point the standalone version because unresponsive when I open the program (application not responding error).

And opening cinema gives med the very annoyning ...

But Isometric does not work - and Parallel is close to useable, but does not align perfectly comparing to C4D's ...

this is possible with some revisions. I'm suspicious about this is how usefull. Hair guides and splines are very similar technically.
