Hi,
if the Mac is from 2017 or older, install High Sierra with CUDA 410.130, and Pascal GPUs in eGPU box, RTX GPUs are not supported under Mac.
If the Mac is from 2018 or newer, the only solution is Bootcamp +Win 10, or Ubuntu 19.10, but you can also use RTX GPUs in eGPU box.

Hi I believe I am having the same problem,
Tried to clean reinstall the latest Nvidia drivers as of today - Studio Driver 441.28 but still have problem, have reinstalled few octane versions just to try if it will make any difference but unfortunately didnt.
So no luck so far, any help will be ...
