We are working with 3dsmax&octane since 3 years now, and I think we are going to look for another rendering software. Octane is wonderful, I think everybody agree with that, but for a company, it's just impossible to work properly. FYI, we are working with 16 licences.

Very old post, but FYI, it works now!

Elementacular+maya --->openvdb ---> 3dsmax+ octane 3 = Nice clouds!

Yesterday I have finished my day with a BSOD...

This morning 3dsmax change. All menu are little and I have no more pb....

That sounds a bit strange, but in max 2016, all the menu are so little. and in max 2017 , the menu are " normal"...

FYI this problem don't exist with 3dsmax 2016 & octane 2.23 ( on the same workstation)

About the 3dsmax service pack, the installation seems weird. The installation was very long and nothing is mentionned in the product information. Maybe have I a problem with this.

Hi,

All services packs are now installed. Issue is still the same

I can't test on another computer because they have 2560*1440 monitors.

This workstation has:

-windows 10 professional 64bit
-Octane 3.04.4
-4 titan X Pascal
- nvidia 375.95
-128 Go ram
-i7-5960X
-3dsmax 2017

Maybe should I change the driver

Same issue with one screen in 2560*1440

I think it's not only the 4k...

What ever the resolution , I have this kind of issue.

Hard to work with this....

So if I want finish my v2 rendering, I have to desactivate my 16 v3 licences....
