Re: OctaneRender™ 2019.2 XB2 [latest 2019.2.x]
hi,
could be for a simple reason that I don't know and probably also easy to fix (if anyone has good suggestions they are welcome), but to me, this build gives a fail for every mesh/ocs loaded.

solved.
It looks like it was just a problem with setting the laptop's performance.
sorry,
andrea

@Kalua
yes, they come 99% from there but you'd expect to read the same behavior from the same command lines on the 2 builds. if not it could mean that something is working incorrectly.
cheeers,

Re: OctaneRender™ 2019.1 RC1 [latest 2019.1.x]
first glance:
it seems to works at -30% speed respect to build 4.05 and it gives some artifacts on otherwise regular mesh/materials.
cheers,
andrea

Re: OctaneRender™ 2019.1 XB2 [latest 2019.1.x]
Hello,
I tried this morning to send the file to Haze but I'm not sure if I succeeded because the page continues to reload its version without my message and won't let me go on.
my best,
andrea

edit
I just realized that this build doesn't have any RTX support. Now, this makes the oddities even stranger.
may be it's normal behavior (I read the whole post here, but I don't remember any similar problems), but I found overall differences in the lighting scene and textures.

Re: SU exporter
sure Renderwiz,
I've surfed this forum back till I've found the last TIG exporter ready to be download (page 15).
it works smoothly in pro2017.

SU exporter
Dear All,
after a long absence, I'm back to Octane but, due to my recent hardware upgrade, the original exporter from SU to Octane (the one written by TIG ages ago) doesn't want to install anymore.
Do we have here some working .rbz to download?
if not do you guys have any suggestions?
thanks,
andrea

Re: OctaneRender 4 / All Access - Update FAQ
my personal opinion is that Otoy should review ALL of its sales / rental policy.
it is the most confusing system I have ever seen, it seems to be at the market, at the three card stand, where the dealer is definitely the winner whatever you do.
Do you choose this card? that one? no, this!
et voila ...
