So basically a tesla card is not so better than a gtx in terms of speed increase? The advantage is just about the ram?

Hi, i just saw on this forum and all over the internet a lot of gpu comparisons and benchmarks about Octane render. But what i've seen it's just about related to gtx stuff.
Since i probably have to buy a workstation (10k + euros) based on tesla technology, i want to know if i will get more benefits ...

Hi there, recently i've seen an article about a new ATI gpu from Sapphire.
It is the new Toxic HD5970 with 4!! GB of ram memory. This card would be awesome in GPU computing.

The question is: will CUDA for ATI development take so long? That's because I'm thinking to begin save some cash to get one ...
